Study visit to Teen Challenge Centres in Belarus

In early August we set off on a study visit to acquaint ourselves with rehabilitation work in Belarus. We visited the Teen Challenge Centres in Svietlahorsk, Baranavichy and Minsk (https://tcb.by/). We witnessed meaningful, progressive work with alcoholics and drug addicts and the dedication, efficiency and enormous hearts of the employees and volunteers.

Christian rehabilitation work in Belarus began in 1995 with one small centre. Today, 14 centres provide help in different cities. This work has helped change thousands of lives throughout Belarus.

Employees of the Salvation Army in Estonia and the NGOs Living Israel Congregation and Uus Võimalus took part in the study visit.
