Europe Teen Challenge Conference in Amsterdam

The Europe Teen Challenge Conference took place in Amsterdam from 2-5 April. Representatives of the Public Foundation of Hope attended the event with employees of the Samaria Estonian Mission and the Salvation Army in Estonia. The conference was attended by around 500 rehabilitation centre managers from 44 countries, mostly in Europe, but also from further afield. The Europe Teen Challenge has been running for 50 years, so the conference in the Netherlands was an anniversary celebration at which we looked back to its beginnings and at past events. Managers from different rehabilitation centres outlined their work, history, challenges and victories.

More than 1400 stationary rehabilitation centres and day centres from all over the world are involved in the Teen Challenge network, in which around 15,000 addicts are helped daily.
